Side effects is a game of self-medication and personal demons that plays just as well at a bar as at game night. It's easy to learn, fun to play, and lets you be as vindictive as your heart desires. Each player receives four unique Disorders. The object of the game is to treat these with Medication and/or Therapy. Take a Medication by placing it on top of the corresponding Disorder. But beware! Every Medication contains side effects (new Disorders that other players can give you). Use Episode cards to trigger unique punishments of other players' untreated Disorders. Use Therapy cards to discard a Disorder without taking Medications, but be careful because it could come back. Trade cards, form alliances, screw over your friends… it's fun for everyone! Develop your own strategies and compete to learn who's truly the master of the medicine.
